A hidden paradise by the beach

The stunning views from my room were breathtaking, and the beach was just a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond to make my solo trip enjoyable, providing kayaks for rent and tips for snorkeling materials right in the bay.

While the rooms were cozy, maintenance could use some improvement, with occasional visits from ants, and I found the breakfast options a bit limited if arriving late.

The Netflix-enabled TV was a great touch, making evenings enjoyable. The hotel provided a golf cart to shuttle guests up the steep hill from the beach, which was convenient and appreciated after a long day.

Rooms were outdated and could really use a facelift, especially the basic ones, lacking the privacy we expected. the proximity of the rooms to the restaurant created noise issues and decreased our overall experience. We had a rather uncomfortable encounter with a nearby resident who was less than welcoming, which tarnished our stay.

i was shocked to find spiderwebs in our chalet, which was marketed as pristine. also, the porch door stopper? totally useless, it wouldn’t keep the door secure. i guess i expected red-carpet treatment here, but that was obviously too much to ask for, sigh. almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.
